The Borštnik Ring will be awarded to her at the closing ceremony of the 60th Borštnik's Meeting Festival, on Sunday, June 15, 2025. We will also be talking to Nataša Barbara Gračner on SLOGI as part of the traditional conversations with Borštnik Ring recipients.

The publication Theatre as a Museum was co-published by the Slovenian Theatre Institute and the Muzeum Institute, directed by Barbara Novakovič, a producer and curator.

The Muzeum Institute, which made a decisive contribution to the introduction of visual arts and contemporary dance into Slovenian performing arts in the 1990s, is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The publication titled Theatre as a Museum was published in co-publishing between the Slovenian Theatre Institute (SLOGI) and the Muzeum Institute. The accompanying exhibition Arhiv furioso, which will be on display in the SLOGI Hall from 15 May to 6 June 2025, covers the performance history of the Muzeum Theatre from 1994 to 2024.

International Museum Day 2025

Na mednarodni dan muzejev 2025 lepo vabljeni tudi v Slovenski gledališki inštitut – Gledališki muzej. Med 16. in 20. uro si lahko ogledate našo stalno razstavo HOJA ZA GLEDalIŠČEM. Od jezuitov do Cankarja in občasno razstavo ARHIV FURIOSO, ki jo bomo odprli v četrtek, 15. maja 2025, ob 19. uri, v nedeljo 18. maja, na mednarodni dan muzejev, pa vas bo ob 17. uri po novi razstavi popeljala njena avtorica, režiserka, producentka in kustosinja Barbara Novakovič.

The accompanying retrospective exhibition Arhiv furioso, which is on display in the Hall of the Slovenian Theatre Institute until June 6, 2025, covers the performance history of the Muzeum Theatre in the years 1994–2024.

World Theatre Day 2025

March 27 has been celebrated as World Theatre Day since 1962. The initiative was taken the year before by the International Theatre Institute (ITI), which promotes the exchange of knowledge and practices in the field of performing arts, ensures connections between artists of all nations and nationalities, and, among other things, draws attention to the importance of respecting human rights and cultural diversity.

Since 2003, at the initiative of the world puppeteers' association UNIMA, we have been celebrating World Puppet Day on March 21. On this day, an international and Slovenian message is published, and puppet theaters invite you to see their performances. This year's international message was written by three renowned artists: Linda Blanchet, Stefan Kaegi and Zaven Paré, and the Slovenian author is Ajda Rooss.
