Congratulations To Natasha Barbara Gračner, this year's recipient of the Borštnik Ring. The Borštnik Ring will be awarded to her at the closing ceremony 60th Borštnik's Meeting Festival, on Sunday, June 15, 2025. We will also talk to Nataša Barbara Gračner on SLOGI as part of the traditional conversations with recipients of the Borštnik Ring.
"Her ability to stage economy – to create emotional tension with a small gesture, a look or a pause – is one of the rare acting highlights. Her acting method is based on in-depth dramaturgical analysis, organic emotional responsiveness and an exceptional sense of the tempo-rhythm of the role. In this way, she successfully coexists with very different directorial poetics, while always remaining an independent artist, breathing inner logic and sound into the role that goes beyond the framework of the director's concept. As a reliable partner on stage, she knows how to both lead the performance and fill it with her presence, without stifling the co-presence of her co-stars." (from the award nomination)
