Compliance level

We estimate that the website slogi.si accessible in accordance with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.

Regardless of the exception in the law, we also try to design all other content in a way that is as accessible as possible for everyone. However, we cannot fully guarantee this due to the exceptions listed under the section "Inaccessible content".

Accessible content

When publishing content on the website, we try to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as closely as possible.

How is the perception of the presented content (perception) enabled?
• Alternative text has been added to images.
• Text size can be changed in the browser without losing information and structure (ctrl+plus, ctrl+minus).
• The contrast ratio between text and background is at least 4.5:1.

What are the user interface management options (operability)?
• All functionalities are accessible via the keyboard.
• The contents are not time-limited.
• We avoid content that causes attacks.
• Contents are organized in menus.
• It is possible to skip all menus to the main content.
• The content is structured using labeled headings.
• We use logical connection names.

With the plugin or accessibility tool on the website, we enable the selection of larger fonts, color contrasts, light backgrounds, the use of readable fonts, and the underlining of links. The tool is located in the upper right corner of the website. The tool allows:
• possibility to adjust text size,
• possibility of setting contrast: high contrast, negative contrast, black and white contrast or light background,
• font setting option,
• marking connections.

Inaccessible content

We are constantly monitoring the accessibility of the website and continuously improving individual accessibility elements. However, some of the published content does not meet all accessibility requirements as set out in the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.

Office documents are not the most optimal form of presenting information online, but in some cases they are difficult to avoid:
• Publishing longer PDF documents (e.g. annual report, documents, digital library, published publications).
• In the case of formatted PDF documents related to specific cultural events (program lists), in the case of a digital library or in the case of published publications, we summarize the content or provide the main information and publish it next to the document that is uploaded and accessible on the website of a specific cultural event or publication.

Due to the disproportionate burden, the website also contains content that does not meet all accessibility requirements:
• Not all videos are equipped with subtitles.
• Videos are not equipped with audio description.
• Some elements do not have an optimal alternative description entered.

Subtitles, audio description and descriptions are not automatic, and editing or revising would constitute a disproportionate burden. Basic information about events related to videos and content is published on the website slogi.si in an accessible format
