Library Exhibitions

By exhibiting book materials, we want to present part of our library collection to the general public. We often draw attention to individual authors on their anniversaries. Thus, exhibitions on the work of William Shakespeare, Valentin Vodnik, Miroslav Vilhar, Ivan Cankar, Arthur Miller, Vitomil Zupan and others were held.

The reason for the exhibition can also be theater anniversaries or theater festivals. We are exhibiting jubilee anthologies of theaters, festival catalogs and other publications, as well as theater lists with published dramatic texts.

Some exhibitions are created in parallel with the digitization and online publication of dramatic texts, while others coincide with important historical anniversaries (e.g. Slovenian drama and the First World War). The digitization of the works of Slovenian playwrights encouraged the exhibition of material about Josip Vošnjak, Fran Govekar, Ljuba Prenner, Emil Filipčič and others.
