Academic Book Fair Liber.ac connects various actors in the field of production and promotion of academic books, from university publishing houses and bookstores to university libraries. It draws attention to the diversity and high quality of Slovenian academic publishing, the latest achievements of science and interdisciplinary development directions in higher education. At the same time, it tries to bring academic books closer to a wider interested public, students and pupils who are deciding on their choice of study, as well as those who are deciding on a university education as part of lifelong learning. The 2024/25 academic year at the University of Ljubljana is dedicated to heritage, which is why the accompanying events of the Liber.ac academic book fair will also be colored by various aspects of cultural heritage, namely they will touch on both tangible and intangible goods, practices, customs, habits, and ideas inherited from the past. Theatre is not just a performance, it is also a diverse profession with a tradition spanning thousands of years. Theatre history, theory, criticism and analysis, reflections, knowledge, behaviour, skills... are recorded in books, magazines... presented by Slovenian theatre publishers.
