In the SLOGI library, we also have a rich collection of translations of dramatic texts into Slovenian. We keep translations that were created from the middle of the 19th century until today and are directly related to the development of our theater. Our aim is to collect as many translated texts as possible, as these have often not been published. Translations - just like the original dramatic texts - were preserved only in handwritten or typewritten form. Some texts, which were often performed, have been translated into Slovenian more than five times (for example, Shakespeare's Hamlet, Držić Dundo Maroje or Ibsen's Crazy), and we have many classic dramatic texts in three or four translation versions.

In the SLOGI library, we also collect and store translations of dramatic texts by Slovenian authors into foreign languages.
