The occasion for the book exhibition is the online publication of Vošnjak's dramatic texts. On our web portal (Digital Library) since 2018, almost all of Vošnjak's theatre proposals have been available. We have published two versions of the play To their own (1889, 1891), drama Foam, comedy Minister's letter and Women's victory, a historical game A hundred years ago and its version The Mayor's Miciko (Co-authored by Vošnjak). The following are the dramas Beautiful Vida, Coal miner and Doctor DraganThese texts from Vošnjak's mature period, with their contemporary content and complexly drawn characters, indicate the rapprochement of Slovenian dramatic literature with modern European literary trends, a rapprochement that was only fully realized by Ivan Cankar.
