V publikaciji je Slovenski gledališki muzej objavil prispevke s simpozija, posvečenega stoletnici rojstva Slavka Jana, ki se je odvijal v okviru Borštnikovega srečanja v letu 2004. O Slavku Janu, igralcu, režiserju, direktorju in profesorju, so spregovorili avtorji prispevkov: Polde Bibič, Vasja Predan, France Vurnik, Rapa Šuklje, Barbara Sušec Michieli, Primož Jesenko, Mojca Kreft, Štefan Vevar, Dušan Mlakar in Ivo Svetina.
