At the exhibition, Hamlet also appears for the first time in the comic book by Andrej Potrč, published in its entirety in the exhibition catalogue, and the exhibition also presents all the Slovenian Hamlets, walks through the history of performing Hamlet in Slovenia, examines how the famous To be or not to be read and heard in different Slovenian translations... WORKSHOPS at the exhibition Hamlet in Slovenia
For primary and secondary school groups
(Conference hall M1 Cankarjev dom).

Elizabethan Theatre (management with workshop, 90 minutes, elementary school, upper secondary school)
At the exhibition, we will meet performances of Hamlet in Slovenia and ask ourselves how Shakespeare staged this tragedy in his time. Participants will learn about Shakespeare's era and the theater life of that time. They will walk through the renaissance theaters of London and learn what a theater performance looked like back then and how it took place.

Something is rotten in the Danish state (management with workshop, 90 minutes, primary school 3, upper secondary school)
Many quotes from the play Hamlet have found their way into our everyday life. We will ask ourselves what some selected sayings mean and what they tell us about the dramatic characters. Participants will show their associations and thoughts in groups in collages, in which they will connect words with visual material and thus learn about the message of Shakespeare's tragedy.

To be or not to be Hamlet (management with workshop, 120 minutes, primary school 3, upper secondary school)
With the help of the comic, the participants will get to know or reconstruct the content of Hamlet and at the exhibition they will see how Shakespeare's tragedy was performed in our country in different periods, with different approaches and in different media. Afterwards, the participants will also try their hand at acting out shorter scenes and put their stamp on the dramatic characters.

Individual workshop: 3.5 EUR/person

Guided tour of the exhibition for pre-announced organized groups (from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.): 2 EUR/person (1.50 EUR for those under 25 and over 65 and pensioners)

Registration for workshops and guided tours of the exhibition: mihael.cepeljnik@slogi.si and kristina.jermancic@cd-cc.si.

Upon registration, each group receives materials to prepare for the visit to the exhibition and workshop, including Hamlet in the comic book, so that they can familiarize themselves with the content of the drama during the lesson. After the visit, the participants will receive a crossword puzzle on the topic of Hamlet, which will be created in cooperation with the Novi Zato institute, administrator of the central Slovenian theater portal SiGledal. By solving the crossword puzzle, workshop participants will consolidate their knowledge of material from Hamlet.
