In 1963, the fundamental work of academic Dušan Moravec entitled Links between Czech and Slovenian Drama was published. Radek Novák (1976) is a young Czech researcher from Prague who studies the contacts between Czech and Slovenian theatre (in Documents for 2003 his contribution "The Influence of Czech Artists on Slovenian Theatre 1894-1907" was published. On the occasion of the centenary of the performance of Cankar's play For the Good of the Nations in the Pištek Arena in Prague (1905), the young researcher prepared a new translation into Czech.
