On March 3, 2008, the Zagorje Valley paid tribute to the memory of its compatriot, opera singer Ladko Korošec, by opening a memorial room in the Weinberger House in Zagorje. The following people participated in the design and implementation of the project: the Ladko Korošec Foundation, the Ladko Korošec family, the Municipality of Zagorje ob Savi, Multima, the Cultural Center Delavski dom Zagorje, the Slovenian Theater Museum, the Slovenian Film Museum, RTV Slovenia, and the Maribor Insurance Company.
