Generator::to produce any number of drama complexes or "a collection of Slovenian experimental dramatic and performance texts from the period of modernism (1966-1986)", published by UL AGRFT and SLOGI (2021), brought to our theatrical, literary and cultural consciousness more than 50 textual units by around 30 Slovenian authors and some of collectives who, during the mentioned period, published their texts in various Slovenian literary magazines, supplements, newspapers or other editions, some of which were even staged, and which (conditionally) can be called dramatic. Among them are also important names of contemporary Slovenian drama, such as M. Jesih, D. Jovanović, P. Lužan, S. Makarovič, A. Rozman – Roza, F. Rudolf, V. Zupan et al. But the collection is about something more, namely an emphasis on distinctly experimental and innovative texts that play with both language and the dramatic genre, some of them are also staging proposals, concepts or scenarios, but what they have in common is that they have never been published in an independent book edition and therefore also - scattered in publications in various publications - more or less forgotten or "lost", both for theater history and for performance practice.
book = event
A book fair of a deviation format book = event returns to Nova pošta at the beginning of summer. Slovenian theater publishers (Maska, Emanat, Knjižnica MGL, SLOGI) will be joined this time by Slovenian Youth Theater and Aksioma. Books will be available for purchase at a reduced price, and innovative performance presentations will take place at the fair, and at the end, PTČ will take the stage - a fresh and bold hip-hop/rap/trap duo, followed by a musical set from DJ Mondijale.
