Elvira Kralj, on the 120th anniversary of the birth of the first recipient of Borštnik's Ring

She was born on August 16, 120 years ago Elvira Kralj, the first recipient of Borštnik's ring. "In Slovenian theater culture, with her noble and calm acting and her personal acting style, which is characterized by exceptional studiousness, non-spectacularity and distinct nobility, she created a new concept of theatrical classics," they wrote in the explanation of the award in 1970.

This year will pass 50 years since the first awarding of the highest actor award for lifetime achievement. We will mark the anniversary in two October broadcasts of Oder on the 3rd program - the Ars Radio Slovenija program. In the interweaving of excerpts from sound recordings kept by SLOGI - Theater Museum, or archival recordings, we will be able to listen to the greatness of actors and actresses in their mutual dialogues.

Ali Raner's question as Mortimer Brewster is answered in the roles of Abby Brewster and Martha Brewster by the actresses Elvira Kralj and Vida Juvan, who received the Borštnik ring in 1977.
