Oedipus the King: Antigone (1941)

The first to publish a Slovenian translation of Oedipus the King was Professor Fran Omerza. Verses from Sophocles' tragedy were published in the student newspaper Mentor during the First World War. Shortly after the war, an excerpt from Oedipus the King was published in the Ljubljana Bell in the translation by Anton Sovretto.
