The Slovene word has been preserved by Argentine Slovenes to this day thanks to a deep national consciousness and strong mutual ties. They passed on their love for their homeland, language and culture to younger generations. Slovenian emigrants established their own cultural homes, where they could socialize, create and nurture their language and culture. In an extensive monograph, the Trieste librarian, public and cultural worker and publicist Marjan Pertot has documented an important part of the cultural and educational life of the Slovenian post-war emigration in Argentina to the present day. The researcher focused particularly on theatrical creativity, recording all available sources, chronologically reconstructing organizational forms and repertoire, presenting the main protagonists of the events and the echoes in the press. The book, the first of its kind on our book market, also bears witness to the so-called "Slovenian miracle in Argentina", as Taras Kermauner called the (especially dramatic and theatrical) creativity of Slovenians in Argentina.
