Under the auspices of the International Association of Theatres for Children and Young People ASSITEJ, we celebrate World Theatre Day for Children and Young People on March 20th, which has been held since 2012 under the motto "Take your child to the theater today!".
President of ASSITEJ, Yvette Hardie, in this year's message, she also responded to the current situation, which does not allow us to follow the motto as we used to. Take your child to the theater today.. She highlighted the talent, creativity, tenacity, adaptability, enthusiasm and determination of creators in finding new ways to reach their audiences and to reunite theatre with children and young people. So that we can enjoy theatrical art despite the current circumstances, many Slovenian theaters joined the initiative last year and allow us, children and young people, to watch selected performances online.
