The management of our institution was completed by a dramatist, theater expert and museum consultantand Mojca Kreft. In the years 2001-2009, she took care of the sound archive at the Slovenian Theater Museum (SGM), and in the period from February 14 to December 14, 2022, she served as the acting director of the public institute Slovenian Theater Institute (successor of the SGM).
As of December 15, 2022, the five-year mandate of the director of SLOGI was taken over by dr. Gašper Troha.
dr. Gašper Troha received his doctorate from the Department of Comparative Literature and Literary Theory, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. He deals with the sociology of literature, especially with issues of contemporary global and Slovenian drama and theater. He lectured at the Faculty of Arts, and also works as a researcher at the AGRFT of the University of Ljubljana.
He has published in many domestic and foreign scientific journals. Among others, he is a co-author of books History and its literary genres (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2008), Literary modernism in the "lead" years (Student Publishing House, 2008) and Lojze Kovačič: life and work (Student Publishing House, 2009). In 2015, he published a monograph Prisoners of freedom on the development of Slovenian drama and theater under socialism.
