We present to you the collections of SLOGI – Theatre Museum. In February 2020, we present Vilma Bukovec as Marinka in Bedřich Smetana's production: The Bartered Bride (director Ciril Debevec, conductor Rado Simoniti, Opera SNG in Ljubljana, premiere 28. 4. 1955).

In 2020, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Slovenian opera soprano Vilma Bukovec (1920–2016), the leader of the Slovenian National Theatre Opera and Ballet in Ljubljana and a leader of the repertoire in the so-called Golden Age of Slovenian opera. She sang almost the entire known soprano repertoire, from the most lyrical to the most dramatic roles. As a soloist, she performed in many countries around the world (France, Belgium, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, Greece, Spain, Egypt, the People's Republic of China, etc.) and received several international awards and recognitions.
