From our collections - Touring Exhibition Tone Stojko, Theatre Photography

We are presenting our collections. Touring Exhibition Tone Stojko, Theatre Photography Tone Stojko (1947) is one of the most important Slovenian photographers of the last half century. In addition to reportage, documentary and portrait photography, he has also devoted himself to theatre. His theatre oeuvre comprises more than 310,000 photographs, which are marked by his own recognizable, artistic approach. Exhibition Theatre Photography – opening on June 7, 2024 as part of the Borštnikovo srečanje Festival at the Slovenian National Theatre in Maribor – accompanies the release of the electronic book of the same name and includes a selection of photographs from 1969 to 2016 – Tone Stojko dedicates it to Dušan Jovanović, with whom he began his theatrical journey. Later this year, the exhibition will also be on display at the Slovenian Theatre Institute in Ljubljana and at the Anton Podbevšek Teatr in Novo mesto. From our collections – poster June 2024:
