We present to you the collections of SLOGI - Theater Museum. In March 2021, we dedicate ourselves to Nevenka Koprivšek, following the recent farewell of this first lady of non-governmental performance production in Slovenia.

If we were to single out the name of a person who is responsible for the international penetration, promotion and continuous development of Slovenian non-institutional production in the field of performance, it would undoubtedly be NEVENKA KOPRIVŠEK (1959–2021). Initially an actress and director – she graduated from the Jacques Lecoq International School in Paris – shortly after her return to Slovenia, she took over the artistic direction of the Glej theater, invited creators of contemporary dance (Iztok Kovač, Betontanc group) to participate and internationalized it. In 1990, she presented an intimate-urban theater project You – The City foreign directing guests Fiona Templeton (in the photo on the right Nevenka Koprivšek, next to her is actress Olga Grad).

In 1997, she founded the Bunker Institute and the following year christened the international Young Lions Festival; she took care of the festival edition even in such a difficult year as the pandemic 2020. In addition to Bunker, which since 2004 has been programmatically managing the space of the Stare mestne elektrarna - Elektra Ljubljana dedicated to contemporary performing arts, she also co-founded several international networks and was actively involved in many domestic and international cultural projects; she received a number of important awards for her outstanding work.

Nevenka Koprivšek, thank you for your generous production actions and lively festival creative center and meeting place!
