Borštnik's Meeting Festival 2011, E-exhibition

Virtual exhibition – prepared by the Borštnikovo srečanje Festival, Novi Zato. and the Slovenian Theatre Institute in collaboration with the Prodok Teater TV center, the Celje Historical Archive, the CTF UL AGRFT archive and the Drama SNG Maribor theaters, the Celje Slovenian Theatre and the Ljubljana Mini Teater.

A year ago, several institutions joined forces and presented a pilot project at the Borštnikovo srečanje Festival - a virtual exhibition, Borštnikovo srečanje 2012 Festival. The collaboration arose from the need to digitize Slovenian theater history, or rather from the desire to snatch the highest achievements of Slovenian theater and acting from oblivion and bring them closer to the widest possible circle of visitors via the World Wide Web.

This year, we have prepared two e-exhibitions, the Borštnikov Meeting Festival 2011 and the Borštnikovo Meeting Festival 2013. The first focuses on the play Bartleby, the Scribe performed by the Mini Theatre and the theatrical works of Milada Kalezić, while the second focuses on the Mad Locomotives performed by the SNG Drama Ljubljana and Olga Kacjan.

The jury for the Borštnik Ring (Aleš Jan, Mateja Koležnik, Tone Partljič, Alja Predan and Milena Zupančič) decided that the 2011 Borštnik Ring should be awarded to actress Milada Kalezić.

The jury awarded the Grand Prize of the Borštnik's Meeting Festival for the best production to the play Bartleby, the Scrivener, directed by Miloš Lolić and performed by the Mini Theatre Ljubljana.
