This year marks 100 years since the birth of painter and art theorist Milan Butina, whom the Kočevje Art Salon, the Kočevje Regional Museum, the Stane Kregar Gallery, the Slovenian Theatre Institute and the Hest Gallery in Maribor are paying tribute to with a series of events.
On Thursday, October 5, at 6 p.m. in the Kregar atrium of the St. Stanislav Institute the exhibition opening will be Memorial exhibition of Milan Butina (1923–1999), where some works from the collection of the Slovenian Theatre Institute will also be on display. More about the exhibition >>
The Slovenian Theatre Institute will host the event from November 9 to December 29, 2023. an exhibition will be on display, where we will present Milan Butina as painter and set designer.
