The permanent exhibition vividly presents the beginnings and central trends of theater in Slovenia, its involvement in European cultural events and its role in the formation of Slovenian national consciousness. Families, children, young people and even the elderly can visit the permanent exhibition with theater worksheets. Free entry!

Urban exhibition of posters
Plakati, ki smo jih pripravili slovenski muzeji pod okriljem ICOM Slovenija in v sodelovanju s podjetjem Tam Tam, bodo na urbani razstavi nagovarjali k obisku muzejev. Plakati bodo postavljeni na vidnih mestih po Ljubljani, razstava plakatov bo na ogled od 17. do 30. maja 2022. Plakate smo tudi letos združili virtual booklet.

The national museums of Slovenia, under the auspices of ICOM Slovenia, are now traditionally celebrating International Museum Day by setting up a joint exhibition dedicated to illuminating the highlighted topic Skrita moč muzejev, kar so naši depoji. International Museum Day – May 18
Already in 1977, the International Museum Council ICOM marked May 18 as International Museum Day, with the aim of increasing the visibility of museums in society and its development. Every year, several museums, including Slovenian ones, join this holiday.
