In June 2020, on the 50th anniversary of Glej, we are presenting a photography of Ale\u0161 Vali\u010d in the performance <em>Ella<\/em> by Herbert Achternbusch (premiere 24 April 1983), translated, directed and visually designed by Eduard Miler.<\/p>\n<h6>On the 50th anniversary of Glej, the oldest non-institutional theater in Slovenia<\/h6>\n<p>On 25 June 1970, the first premiere of a theater troupe which is officially established a good week later by the name of Experimental Theater Glej, takes place at the Knight Hall of Kri\u017eanke. The story of Glej encompasses various working conditions, the striving for a permanent working space being one of the recurring issues that stand out \u2013 in this respect, the initial period of the theater can be labeled as more than a decade of yearning for a creative haven of its own. Moving to the space at 3 Gregor\u010di\u010deva Street (recent warehouse of the State Publishing House of Slovenia), where Glej still resides today, is marked by the premiere of <em>Ella<\/em> by Herbert Achternbusch (24 April 1983), translated, directed and visually designed by Eduard Miler.<\/p>\n<p>Taken in 1983 by Tone Stojko, the photo is only a part of the author&#039;s rich theater photography oeuvre which is being taken care of in the Iconotheque of SLOGI \u2013 Theater Museum. In 1983, Stojko also prepared an exhibition of his theater photography for which he was later awarded the Pre\u0161eren Fund Prize.
