The latter is not often the subject of scientific research, neither in Slovenia nor abroad. Given the rich history of amateur theater in Slovenia and elsewhere in Europe, we have approached this field from various perspectives. Some key periods in the development of Slovenian theater were analyzed by Aldo Milohni\u010d (The Workers&#039; Stage under Bratko Kreft and Ferdo Delak), Toma\u017e Topori\u0161i\u010d (linking Slovenian avant-garde currents from the late 1960s with the contemporary American avant-garde) and Barbara Orel (the turn to non-acting).<\/p>\n<p>Of course, Slovenian amateur theater is still a vital part of the theater landscape. By comparing the current situation in Malta, Estonia and Slovenia, we also aimed to comparatively place it into the European context.<\/p>\n<p>This issue is supplemented by studies of various examples of amateur theaters and projects in Slovenia and abroad.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"\/en\/?p=21946\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><button class=\"btn btn-danger btn-lg\" type=\"button\"><small>More on Amphitheater, Volume 8, Number 1<\/small><\/button><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The journal is included in: <strong>MLA International Bibliography<\/strong> (Directory of Periodicals) and <strong>Scopus<\/strong>.
