Zofka Kveder in gledališče, razstava ob 100-letnici smrti

V letu 2026 v Sloveniji z več dogodki obeležujemo 100. obletnico smrti pisateljice in prve pomembnejše slovenska dramatičarka Zofke Kveder. Razstava predstavlja gledališko udejstvovanje Zofke Kveder kot dramatičarke, prevajalke in kulturne posrednice.

O uprizarjanju Srečka Kosovela – v oddaji Oder

Na kakšne načine so se na odru manifestirale njegove pesniške podobe, kako so zadoneli njegovi prodorni zvoki – o tem in mestu, ki ga ima Kosovel na zemljevidu slovenske umetniške scene si lahko poslušate v oddaji Oder na 3. programu Radia Slovenija – programu Ars,  ki sta jo pripravili Ana Perne s Slovenskega gledališkega inštituta in urednica oddaje 𝘖𝘥𝘦𝘳 Petra Tanko.

Gledališče kot muzej, publikacija

The Muzeum Institute, which made a decisive contribution to the introduction of visual arts and contemporary dance into Slovenian performing arts in the 1990s, is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The publication Theatre as a Museum was co-published by the Slovenian Theatre Institute and the Muzeum Institute, directed by Barbara Novakovič, a producer and curator.

Dušan Jovanović – monograph

The first comprehensive monograph on the work of Dušan Jovanović was published in the collection Documents of the Slovenian Theatre Institute, conceived and edited by Dr. Diana Koloina.

V Slovenskem gledališkem inštitutu že vrsto let pripravljamo pogovor z vsakoletnim prejemnikom oziroma prejemnico Borštnikovega prstana. Najvišje igralsko odličje za življenjsko delo pri nas je leta 2024 prejel Branko Šturbej. Z njim se bo pogovarjala teatrologinja Ana Perne.

Slovenian Theatre Annual 2022/2023

The Slovenian Theater Yearbook 2022/2023 has been published, the thirty-first in a row, which has been regularly published under this name since 1994, and is also the 36th continuation of the centenary Repertoarja of Slovenian theaters (1867–1967), which was first published on the centenary of the founding of the Drama Society (1967 ). The yearbook is based on an online database of Slovenian theater productions (on the portal sigledal.org), but it also significantly improves the data collected there - with editorials, data on festivals and awards, data on reruns and guest appearances, and a summary and comparison of data between individual theaters.

The exhibition of Tone Stojko, Theater Photography accompanied the release of the e-book of the same name. Curator mag. From the photographic material published in the book, Tea Rogelj made a selection of photographs from the period from 1969 to 2016. The traveling exhibition – of course, it is different every time, adapted to each time's spatial conditions and ambience; it was shown for the first time as part of the Borštnik's Meeting Festival in June this year at SNG in Maribor - we will open it at the Slovenian Theater Institute on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 7 p.m. with a Talk on Theater Photography.

Molière's The Miser on Slovenian professional stages

Zgodovinski prelet slovenskih gledaliških srečevanj z Molièrovim Skopuhom, ki ga pripravlja teatrologinja in kustosinja Ana Perne. Prvo in doslej edino uprizoritev Skopuha v ljubljanski Drami je leta 1926 režiral Osip Šest. Po kritiškem mnenju Franceta Koblarja je »zaradi grobe domačnosti nekaterih igralcev« igra »spominjala na prvotno snov stare burke in ni bila prava francoska klasična komedija«. Kakšne pa so bile poznejše uprizoritve, denimo druga mariborska (1947) in druga tržaška (1948), obe v režiji Jožeta Babiča, ki je cenil Molièrov »revolucionarni odnos do dobe, v kateri je živel«, ali celjska (1957) v režiji Andreja Hienga, ki je zapisal, da je to »zelo kruta komedija«? Kako je kritika ocenila kranjskega, v gmajn gorenšno postavljenega vohernika, kot si ga je leta 1999 z ekipo zamislil režiser Vito Taufer, kako na commedio dell’arte oprto branje režiserja Borisa Kobala v Mestnem gledališču ljubljanskem leta 2010?
