In the presence of Matej Bor, the important Slovenian playwright Lojze Filipič (1921–1975) gave an analysis of his dramatic text on September 10, 1969 at the Ljubljana City Theatre.

In May 1970, the production was a guest at the 15th Yugoslav Theatre Festival, where director Miran Herzog and costume designer Mija Jarc received the Steri Award, while the role of van Walden was one of Zlatko Šugman's acting creations, for which he received the Prešeren Fund Award in 1970.
