Russian actress Marija Nablocka (born Marja Nikolaevna Borislavska) came to Ljubljana in 1922 to follow her husband, actor Boris Vladimirovič Putjata. After only two months, she acted in the Slovenian language for the first time - her first role on the stage of a Ljubljana drama was Nastasja Filipovna in Idiot. After the premiere, the management signed a contract with her and she worked in this theater until her retirement in 1956. She performed again in the role of Nastasja Filipovna in the 1925/26 season.
