We are presenting our collections. In September 2020 we are presenting a photography of the performance Voranc by Dane Zajc, directed by Mile Korun (SNT Drama Ljubljana, premiere 16 January 1980). In the photo: Štefka Drolc (Neža), Polde Bibič (Voranc).

The Week of Slovenian Drama is one of the central cultural events in Slovenia. It significantly encourages Slovenian drama writing and at the same time takes care of its recognition and promotion abroad. At the festival edition in 1979, the first Slavko Grum Award for the best original drama play went to Dane Zajc for his poetic drama Voranc. Its first performance, in the staging of the SNT Drama Ljubljana, took part at the Week of Slovenian Drama in 1981.

Prešeren Theater Kranj, Slovenian Theater Institute and Gorenjska Museum Kranj, in collaboration with the Ars program, would like to draw attention to the 50th anniversary with the exhibition The event is here, you have an event in town! You are kindly invited to visit it at Gorenjska Museum where it will be open until September 27, 2020.
