We are presenting our collections. In January 2020 we are presenting a Maks Kavčič's stage design sketch (23.7 x 33.5 cm, watercolor) for the performance Nikolai Andrejevič Rimsky-Korsakov: The Snow Maiden (directed by Hinko Leskovšek, SNT Opera and Ballet Ljubljana, 1951/52).

Painter Maks Kavčič (1909–1973), a versatile and charismatic artistic personality, was also active as restorer, organizer and tutor to many young generations. Next to that, he contributed to over 65 opera and drama performances as the author of the set design and in some cases even of the costume design. His creative approach left a significant trace on the theater in Slovenia and the sketches of Kavčič are an important part of the collection in SLOGI – Theater Museum. Very recently, the collection was enlarged by an additional abundant oeuvre, donated by Irena Kavčič and Metka Kavčič.
