The new book by the poet and writer Miroslav Košuta collects notes that were written between 1963 and 2018, the core of which are the periods of the quarter-century management of the Slovenian Permanent Theater in Trieste and the year and a half in anticipation of his retirement. The notes were already announced in a previous book, entitled Notes on a Rainy Window, in which the author omitted the chapter on theater.
In the published material, which includes letters, interviews, articles, evaluations and opinions, Miroslav Košuta points out the stormy behind-the-scenes happenings at SSG and the tenacity of the institution, which is deeply rooted among the people and grown with theatrical creativity in the mother. With this work, the author also wants to repay the great artists and invisible collaborators who shaped the image of Slovenian theater in Trieste and anchored it in history. The book was published by Založba Mladika from Trieste.
The author Miroslav Košuta, Meta Hočevar, Aleš Berger and Marij Čuk will take part in the presentation.
