International seminar Mobile Theatre Network, guest event

The international seminar Mobile Theatre Network, subtitled Strategies for Establishing Distribution Models for Non-Institutional Productions in Eastern and Central Europe, was prepared by Ljubljana Museum in cooperation with the Open Society Institute (OSI-Slovenia) and with financial support from the Ministry of Culture.

The seminar was part of the pilot project MMT – Mobile Theatre Network, which was developed by the Muzeum Institute as a model for the distribution of non-institutional performances in the years 1999-2001. The MMT – Mobile Theatre Network calendar was published with data on independent theatre creators, and a digital database of venues for such tours throughout Slovenia was built.

The results of the seminar were published in English:
International Seminar Mobile theater Network
Strategies for Establishing Distribution Networks for Independent Performing Arts in Central and Eastern Europe
Ljubljana: Muzeum, Institute for Artistic Production, Mediation and Publishing, 2000
