Predstavljamo vam zbirke SLOGI – Gledališkega muzeja. Julija 2020, ob ob 100-letnici požiga Narodnega doma v Trstu predstavljamo razglednico/kolorirano fotografijo Tržaškega Narodnega doma v plamenih.
One hundred years ago, on July 13, 1920, Italian fascists, with the support of the military authorities – firefighters were not allowed to put out the fire – burned down the Slovenian National Hall in Trieste. The symbolic significance of the event deeply shocked the Slovenians of Trieste and the Slovenian minority in general.
The photograph with the motif of the National Hall in flames is from the legacy of theater actor, director, organizer and educator Hinko Nučič (1883-1970).
