Fragments of Love, Fragments in Time, photography exhibition

Lokacija: Gallusovo nabrežje, Ljubljana
Termin: 01. 02. 2024 – 21. 03. 2024

The exhibition of the Slovenian Theatre Institute – Theatre Museum presents photographs of theatre moments that manifest a manifold of emotional affections in stage performances of Slovene drama plays by authors of older and contemporary date, in the interpretation of recognizable actors from various theatre houses.

The overview of love motives in Slovene drama playwriting also includes relations where devotion to the Other already goes astray or even reaches its opposite, as well as those that depart from the heteronormative understanding. The time scope reveals in what way theatre as social mirror view captures the variations of love spread out and layer up.

Authors of the exhibition: Ana Perne and Primož Jesenko
