Vlastja Simončič (1911–2000) recorded 54.500 theatre photographs in the period between 1946 and 1989. The Slovenian theatre community still considers him “the Master of theatre photography« and this is the reason why, 110 years after his birth, the Slovenian Theatre Institute – Theatre Museum prepared the virtual exhibition From our Collection: Vlastja Simončič, Theatre Photographer.
